At our practice, we are dedicated to providing our patients with skillful, comfortable care. We know that for most people, there are a million places they’d rather be than the endodontist’s office, and we take the time to make sure that you are comfortable and feel confident in the care we are providing. If you’re feeling anxious about your procedure or appointment, please let us know. We offer a range of sedation options, including IV Moderate Sedation.

Endodontists specialize in the treatment of the pulp and roots of the tooth. You may require endodontic treatment because you have an infection, because you have sustained an injury to the root of your tooth, or because a previous dentist’s treatment failed. No matter what brings you to our practice, we’ll help you feel better.

The most common treatment we perform as endodontists is root canal therapy. This is a treatment that is done when the pulp has become infected. An infection of this type is often quite painful, but a root canal relieves the pain and restores function to the affected tooth. Another treatment we commonly perform is the apicoectomy. This is a surgical treatment that is often done to save damaged teeth.

As endodontists, we’ve received extra training in these types of procedures. This means that we have the experience and skill needed to treat more complex cases, and we are also often called on for endodontic retreatment. If you’ve had a root canal or other endodontic therapy performed in the past and you haven’t received the results you’d like, please call our office so that we can examine you and determine whether you would benefit from retreatment.

Precision and accuracy are, of course, crucial in the field of endodontics. The canal spaces within the roots of the teeth are incredibly small, so we want diagnostics and treatment to be as precise as possible. State-of-the-art technology helps us to achieve this advanced precision. Dr. Keough Humberson uses a cone-beam 3-D scanner to deliver the most detailed imaging currently available for the best possible results.

Please give us a call to schedule your examination or consultation.
